My wife and i booked a sunrise hot air balloon ride to celebrate both our 60th birthdays. Living social finally did refund us almost a month later. When it didn't come they said they don't offer refunds if purchased through living social and then they quit returning my emails. They kept telling us they were contacting Living Social and Viator but never did and at one point said they had given us the refund and should be back to our account in 5 days. And that isn't the most disappointing part! If canceled due to weather you are supposed to be offered a full refund. I called to make sure we were in the right location only to find out the flight had been canceled and no one let us know. 5am rolls around and still no one, 515.no one. That call never came so my husband and I got up at 330am to make sure we were to the "office" by 445am like the person I spoke to said to do. I called the day before the flight to make sure they were flying and I was told I would receive a call between 5 and 6pm that night to confirm if they weren't flying. I booked this for my honeymoon, it was to be the highlight of our trip.
